Hello to all the members of this list!

Bob, I've been using a Gigabyte GA-7IX (without the E) since
November last year, and is was very easy to install and setup. I have a
K7-500 with 128MB RAM and is has functioned rock steady. It recognized the
K7 automaticly and the WD 13GB UDMA66 as worked just fine. I also have a
TEAC CROM and a Sony CDR with no problems.

From what i've heard/read this motherboard is more stable and
consistent than the Asus K7M, which in turn has some overclocking
possibilities.
        Of course with GA-7IX i can't do any overclocking ;-) but i'm
considering buying a Microninja ProSpeed, that attached to the K7 allows
me to change the multiplier and the core voltage. Does anyone have any
experience with these devices?

        Hope it helped,

Tiago A. T. Miranda
