This is not correct. Windows...any version ...will support as many NICs =
Network Interface Cards as you have IRQs = Interrupt ReQuests for.

Why would you want multiple NICs ? The most common reason would be for an
ADSL or Cable Modem Internet connection. Your LAN =  Local Area Network
runs off one NIC and the Internet network connects off another.
