I am so glad we have this list serve to be able to ask questions.

My 11-year daughter went for a biopsy 2 weeks ago.  They also did testing on
her enzymes.  I received a call from the nurse at the office today saying
that my daughter has NO amylase enzymes (an amylase deficiency) and we need
to come back for some 6-hour hydro?? test.  The nurse said this was all new
to her and wasn't able to answer any of my questions (I am to call back on
Monday).  (Her biopsy results are not in yet.)  Can anyone give me any
information on this amylase deficiency?
