When I was on a SAD (or whatever) diet I had too much acid in stomach, than
going for a while (too long while) into veggie/vegan diet I ended up having
not enough acid in stomach.
The food I ate was almost the same at the other end (if you know what I
mean). My bowel problems than started. I think that undigested food just
iritated my guts.
Now after 3-4 months on kind of Paleo (for me Paleo is high fat, protein,
low carbs, no nuts (irritating), not too much raw veggies, fruits and no
non-paleo-foods)I feel better gained back about 15 pounds without any fat
increase and had no stomach problems from 2 months so I guess everything
starts to work well. My IBS is still active from time to time but is
definitely better.
