The surviving HGs of today live in the climatic extremes - arctic and
desert - since those areas didn't attract agrarian folks. These HGs
necessarily eat a diet comprised of 60 - 95% animal origin. Before
agriculture, when HGs lived in more moderate environments, they must have
eaten a much greater portion of their diet in fruits and vegetables. Thus, I
think today's HGs are poor examples of what we should be eating.
