yeah, bobby, it comes in stages i guess. i accepted the facts of cp at about
12. that there would be things that would be different, that i had a
disability and it was going to cause problems that others did not have to
deal with. but along the way some of the differences were hard to accept,
because in some cases, they did not have to be different, and in some cases
the differences were unexpected alltogether.

For me, acceptance has come in stages. There are still aspects of myself I
do not really accept.
