I've used termite dogs several times in Kona.  The dogs found the termites
when the damage was not at all detectable by "normal means".  The wall was
single wall- or only one board as structure and skin.  The dogs require
ALOT of training and  did not qualify as "essential dogs" (i.e. seeing eye)
to by pass the 120 day quarantine system so eventually the costs became
prohibitive.  I would definitely give them a try after checking their CV!
