I've wondered the same thing myself.  I'm thinking maybe it's the lovely
picture you would paint walking into a bank or a 7-11.  On the other hand,
you'd get the guy's attention behind the counter.

No more of this "Excuse me...EXCUSE ME!.  Hel-LO!!!"
