I am currently having the same problem with a amdk6-2 450 and a tyan 1590
mobo, i've removed everything but the hd and cd drive.. the only way i can
even load an operating system is to turn all caching off. and it still
doesnt
boot half the time.. get to verifying dmi pool data then just hangs,ive
taken
all ram out except for 1 64 mg stick, set bios to default, and removed all
scsii,sound,lpt and modem cards.. i have noticed the cpu temp getting to
almost 190 degrees when checking the bios.. any ideas would be
appriciated...
