Do I gotta teach everybody how to spell in Kraut? I may have to take on the
job of German Czar, in addition to my Humor obligations. Makes for a long
day, but for you loyal Pinheads, what the heck.
The short leather pants they wear are called (and spelled) "Lederhosen" =
leather pants. "Liederhosen" would be songs pants, or maybe if you really
stretch it, singing pants.
Never occurred to me to compare the chest strap on Lederhosen to a halter
top, but perhaps you saw it being worn by more, shall we say, picturesque
models than I did.
