I use plenty of Microsoft products -- HOWEVER -- I would not recommend the
use of Internet Explorer on a computer you care about under any
circumstances. I would also recommend against the use of any Microsoft
mail program including Outlook and Outlook Express. Nor should any
responsible person choose Windows-NT for servers which need to perform any
critical function.
And each of these is the overwhelming consensus among all the
knowledgeable computer geeks I know.
You could also run Netscape on Linux, but admittedly that's a VERY geeky
solution. Even I haven't done that yet. Macintoshes are fine for most
users, easy to set up, etc., but I'd rather not go there myself.
