I just bought a new computer with the 533-MHz Celeron
CPU and configured it the same as my backup 400-MHz Celeron
computer. However, when I compared the data processing
speeds using the same application, the new computer was
SLOWER! The comparison follows:

        400-MHz Celeron 533-MHz Celeron
        ------------------------- ---------------
---------
        24.3 KB/Hour 13.5 KB/Hour (???)

The application that I am using is SETI (Search for
Extraterrestrial Intelligence). Has anyone else experienced
this type of problem with the 533-MHz Celeron? At first I
thought it might be the application, since I downloaded the
new Version 2.04, so I reverted back to Version 2.03, but
got the same results. Any ideas out there?
