hello all :)

i have recently been diagnosed as having celiac disease, after being sick
for over 18 months.

during that time, along with the classic symptoms, i also suffered from
frequent, atypical severe epileptic seizures. i was not diagnosed with
epilepsy - i had numerous CAT scans, EEGs and blood tests, which showed no
obvious problems with the neuro side of things. the seizures have gradually
subsided, going from 3 times a day to now only once every month to six
weeks.

i've done some research and discovered that severe celiacs can have
irrepearable damage to the neurological pathways and nerves. i'm wondering
if anyone has further information or perhaps similar symptoms?

i would appreciate any feedback!!!

regards,

julia ahern
