Hello,

I have a unique issue with a Proteva brand PC. This is an Pii/266 system
that I cannot get the modem to work. The original is an old ASI board,
but the replacement is PCI USRobotics Supra.

I finally got the PC to recognize the modem by manually installing the
device. For some reason PNP would not recognize it. So here is my
dilemma... under Control Panel for the Modem it is showing as COM2, yet
under Device Manager it shows it assigned to COM3.

   Any thoughts?

   Thanks!

   Tim Payne
