I went out to do my morning gardening, and i found a 4 1/2 foot garden
snake. Unusual beings how it is winter here, although winter here is
around 50 degrees. I left it alone, because we do get a lot of garden
snakes here due to the mice in the neighboring field. My kids asked if
they could catch, skin it and eat it. They are getting the hang of this
paleo diet. hehehe So my question is, are garden snakes edible? I
run across them about 2 times a month in the summer, and very rarely in
the winter. When we first moved here, we had gopher problems, but our 4
cats took care of that problem. I wonder if I will have to fight my cats
for the snake? They are all on a raw food diet now too.
