Is he not paleo now? By that I mean isn't he almost exclusively on breast
milk? If the mother is eating paleo and a fairly wide variety of foods I
seriously doubt you have to be concerned about supplementing. My daughter
will continue to breast feed for as long as necessary though at almost two
she only breast feeds when going to bed at night.

My daughter will be 2 next month. She has absolutely beautiful tooth
development and her frame is solid. She started to take in some meat(raw
venison) at 5 months of age. She did not have any fruit juices or any other
processed food for that matter until she was about 16 months. Even now her
treats are, for the most part, paleo. No supplements. Your son's calcium
intake is irrelevant past a minimal level. He can get more than sufficient
calcium from nuts and seeds and vegetables if he doesn't breast feed. It is
more important to look at mineral balance and to restrict or eliminate
processed foods that will negatively affect mineral balances such as sugary
fruit juices, cereals, breads, etc. Meat ingestion does not deplete the
body's calcium stores. Eating crap does.
The greatest stimulator of bone density(calcium stores) is weight bearing
exercise in the great outdoors with exposure to sunlight. No hormone
replacement, supplement, or drug can substitute for this basic human need.
This is one of the reasons that I took my daughter on her first hike at 3
days of age and her first camping trip at 7 weeks. Besides, no flies or
mosquitoes were attracted to her because I'm assuming babies don't put off
much of a smell or body heat. Whatever you do don't let the drug companies
or supplement manufactures put you in fear. Eating paleo does away with any
supposed supplementation needs.
Please feel free to e-mail me directly.

P.S. My daughter has never been nor will ever be vaccinated. Above down
inside out is how health works!
