Ok, I am not totally paleo but I do run along those lines with quite a bit of my eating habits. I have been doing a form of paleo/Atkins for the last three months and I have lost close to 30 pounds with about 30 before. I have done this before and gotten off of it and as always I feel much better doing a paleo type of diet.

The thing that is bothering me over the last month or so I have been feeling terrible after I smoke. Yes I know, quit... I am actually doing that slowly but what I want to know is if there is an actual reason I would be feeling this way from a change of diet.

When I smoke a cigarette I get dizzy and my heart seems to beat much faster and harder. This will last for a small amount of time afterwards and then go back to normal. This just started happening as I said over the last month and seems to be getting worse.

Could this be a reaction to the cigarettes or my body telling me something else is wrong? I do take xenadrine but I have no bad feelings besides when I smoke a cigarette.

Does anyone have anything to share with me on this subject. Any information is appreciated!

Melissa
