Ketosis really has nothing to do with actual wt loss.
It is just a byproduct(ketones) of the burning of fats
in the absence of sufficient carbs.  Wt loss still
boils down to having a negative caloric balance.

The reason most fall into ketosis when on high
fat/protien and low carb is because the carb is too
low.  Not a problem really, just a byproduct.
Although I don't think ketosis is very good for you
long term.

Intrestingly, to lose one
pound= -3500cals
to gain a pound=  +4200cals(anabolic)
