So I guess now we have to accept the status quo is fine? As long as we keep
getting our steak, the rice and vitamins are good enough for the poor?

Don't even start me on the "poverty" issue. I am not into charity handouts
of poison laced with vitamin A. Have you ever considered WHY there is a
vitamin A deficiency in those populations to begin with? From a nutritional
standpoint, do you think that perhaps the consumption of rice itself may
even be correlated with malabsorption of A? What about the tens of
thousands of children who die every yeaar because of bladder infections
related to rice?

If someone on this list were considering eating this rice, you would advise
them not to, and be armed with all kinds of evidence on lectins and vitamins
and bladder stones.

This rice is just another concoction to bandaid the misery that imperialism
spreads all over the world.

One man's ridiculous is another child's ability to see. You will not be
forced to use this product. There are countless very very poor and starving
people on this planet that can not wait for the next ice-age to start
hunting
and gathering.
