Okay, so if the Jelly-belly package is marked Kosher but not Kosher-dairy,
then it *may* have dairy or may not.

Then the kosher label is useless to an Orthodox Jew, because he needs to
know if what he is eating is milk, meat, or neither, lest he violate
religious law.

So it seems to me that the Kosher mark alone is meaningless.
