Why do I contribute to this list? Because I get response. If no one comments
I take it as a lack of interest and I've got better things to do. If someone
sends a back channel message, "nice post", or posts a question or answer on
the list then I feel like doing it again.
Why do I contribute to this list? Because I want to let folks know what I am
interested in. How can I expect to get asked to do interesting things if no
one knows what interests me.
Why do I contribute to this list? Let's face it, I like putting on the show.
When I was growing up my family was always involved in putting on the show.
We exhibited at the county and state fairs, we sang in the church choir, as
a side line hobby my dad taught thousands of kids how to swim and my
brothers, sisters and I were his "demonstrators", puttin' on the ol'
backstroke show.
So, if you are a lurker, no thanks to you for not responding, but thanks to
you for letting me put on the show.
John
