1.) Read more of what I view as the Top 10 Mistakes Restaurants Make When Trying to Provide Gluten Free Meals in my latest Blog post. I also share some notable examples of restaurants doing it right! The post has already generated quite a few comments, and we welcome yours as well!

2.) Have YOU had a frustrating experience dining out recently...or better yet, is there a restaurant, bakery, or other business you love that goes "above and beyond" to serve high-quality gluten free fare? One of the best ways to "give back" to your fellow Celiac and gluten sensitive diners is to SHARE your feedback by submitting a review on our website or our DINE GLUTEN FREE mobile app. Our huge database of reviews of dining establishments all over the world is easily searchable by town/city ( https://glutenfreetravelsite.com/maps/map-locator.php ) OR more broadly by state, country, or region of the world ( https://glutenfreetravelsite.com/searchreviews.php ), so your fellow GF diners living in or traveling to your area can easily find and read the reviews you post.

You can submit your own review of a place that's ALREADY ON the site (just click one of the links on the page for that business)...OR, if you have feedback about someplace that no one has yet reviewed, go to this page ( https://glutenfreetravelsite.com/submit.php ). Your review doesn't have to be extremely long or detailed...just let others know if the business takes care in preparing GF orders, as well as the types of GF options available. (Again, you can submit reviews right from the app, too.) Thanks so much for helping us to spread the word about the best GF places to dine...and for sharing your valuable feedback with others who need guidance. This could be someone newly diagnosed, someone new to your area, or someone traveling to a place where you've had a good GF experience.

3.) Looking for a fun family vacation with gorgeous beaches, a beautiful pool, family-friendly suites, and "gourmet inclusive" dining that includes GLUTEN FREE options? Lesley Hayden-Hock at Travel Leaders has access to a KIDS STAY FREE deal at Nickelodeon's new resort in Punta Cana. But make no mistake, this is a resort that adults love, too! Call her at 800-487-6110 or email her at [log in to unmask] for more information.

Lesley also has access to specials on summer cruises (how about Alaska or the Mediterranean?), exotic GF trips in the Fall, and plenty of ideas (and savings!) on GF-friendly all-inclusives in Mexico and the Caribbean. Now is the time to start booking your Holiday getaways -- the best places fill up fast!

4.) The May/June "Summer Fun" issue of Simply Gluten Free magazine is out! Along with yummy recipes, like the Margarita Lime Pie on the cover, it includes an article I wrote about dining gluten free in the Washington, DC area. Get it at your local newsstand...

Have a great month!
